116 // Worry, Stress & Anxiety: What's the Difference and Is There a Healthy Level?
Hey, Holistic Wellness Warrior đź‘‹
You my friend, have probably said the following words more than once within the past week: worry, stress, and anxiety. Today, I want to talk about these three feelings and what they mean, how they’re different, and if there’s such a thing as a “healthy” level of these emotions.
Let’s start by saying that worry, stress, and anxiety are all part of life and part of motherhood. They’re natural responses to the challenges we face. But, God also doesn’t want us to live in constant fear, anxiety, or stress. So, let’s break each of these down together.
And ALSO, if you have said these words, then I KNOW, ME TOO, I GET IT! I was there and oftentimes use all of them and include overwhelmed, exhausted, maybe even burned out. BUT, I found a way to learn what my feelings were telling me and find a place of peace. Honestly, that peace that passes understanding. I took intentional action and found myself with more time, energy, presence and peace! Do you want that? I know you do! Because, I can guarantee between the diapers, bathroom trips, 20 snacks, getting dinner in the crockpot, work requests, and trying to squeeze in a workout, or some prayer time with God... your plate is overflowing and you can't seem to fit it all on, but NOTHING can come off.
