I'm Shan Wright—wife, mom to 4, Registered Nurse, and Holistic Nurse Coach. I've been where you are: burnt out at bedside, struggling with postpartum anxiety, feeling disconnected from God and my family, and wondering if this exhausting cycle was just "how it is" for nurses. After burning out in bedside nursing, I realized I couldn't pour from an empty cup. I sought the Prince of PEACE and charted my way to whole-body wellness through simple, faith-based holistic practices—and I'm excited to share them with you!

Welcome to another breath prayer episode, in the Breathe & Be Still series. Let's breathe and be still and know that He is Lord and you are safe, known, loved by Him.
So often in your life, you are the rock. You are other’s rock. They rely on you for strength, support, encouragement, love, help. You love to serve and you are dependable. BUT, you can not carry all of your cares and all the cares of everyone else too! Your patients, clients, friends, children, spouse, family....That's too much of a load to carry. The Lord wants to carry them and He is the only one able.
Verse:Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you;
Get in a comfortable position, can do this anywhere at any time. but closing eyes is a good way to focus, unless driving. Inhale.... deep breath.....expand chest and lungs... each one taking deeper... Exhale...breathe out audibly... let all the muscles and tension relaxSpeak out, on the inhale and exhale for 3 min :Inhale: Lord, I cast my cares on you Exhale: you will sustain me
