Welcome Wellness Warrior!
One form of prayer we discussed in the Jesus is the main gift challenge is listening prayer. For one of the Prayer Dares I created a one page coloring sheet with Psalm 23:1 with shepherds, sheep and stars to color.  The point was to meditate on the scripture and engage in listening prayer while coloring. Welcome Back Wellness Warrior!I had another great Epiphany this year and God revealed my word of the year for 2025. To hear my other words of the years go back to episode 135 on Epiphany. My word this year is COMMUNICATION. It's nothing fancy and I may have resisted it to be honest, but it's all encompassing. You see, Prayer is communication with God, relationships are built on communicating, healthy marriages thrive on speaking love languages, children learn through gentle expression, business conversions happen through conversations, podcasting is a form of communication, speaking is a calling I'm obeying this year, and to build strong connections kind communication is required. SO as this is my focus this year, I want to help you to see how communication can be a powerful tool to calm your heart and mind. We’ll talk about three types of communication in the episode for less stress on your holistic life.

Welcome, Wellness Warrior, to the third breath prayer episode in the series Breathe and Be Still. You can find the first and an introduction to the series on episode 121 and another on episode 127. It's a New year and the day I'm recording this : Epiphany. Let's set our heart, mind and body on the truth that God has big, abundant plans for you for a future of hope and peace.
Our Breath prayer is based on the verse: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
For 3 minutes we will…INHALE: The Lord has good plans for me
EXHALE: Peace and Well-being are mine.

Welcome Back, Wellness Warrior! Happy New Year…..AND Merry Christmas…..We are actually still in the 12 days of Christmas! 
There are many times to tell time, and the church has a calendar it uses and breaks the year into seasons. It all starts with Advent, then Christmas which lasts 12 days, and ends on Epiphany, January 6th. The word Epiphany comes from the greek noun- “epiphaneia” which means “shining forth.” Jesus came into the world on Christmas day and Epiphany is recognizing the light He brought to a dark world. And taking the day to reflect on the ways His light is in you and how you can spread that light in the world.Listen in to hear more of why and how and then….So will you join me for Epiphany? Welcome Wellness Warrior! As we learned in episode 130, so many struggle with loneliness this time of year. It's a complex feeling that can stem from many origins. And I think it's the ploy of the enemy,  that he brings on full force at the Christmas season because we are literally celebrating GOD WITH US. We are never to feel alone again because Jesus came so we could be connected to him for eternity. BUT our human flesh is made to be connected to other humans. And when just one of those disconnections happens (again in a variety of ways) we can feel lonely. So again, with Christmas nearing or maybe you are listening after Christmas, let's sit with this name of Jesus, identity of Him as Emmanuel.
