Welcome to another breath prayer episode, in the Breathe & Be Still series. Let's breathe and be still and know that He is Lord and you are safe, known, loved by Him.
So often in your life, you are the rock. You are other’s rock. They rely on you for strength, support, encouragement, love, help. You love to serve and you are dependable. BUT, you can not carry all of your cares and all the cares of everyone else too! Your patients, clients, friends, children, spouse, family....That's too much of a load to carry. The Lord wants to carry them and He is the only one able.
Verse:Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you;
Get in a comfortable position, can do this anywhere at any time. but closing eyes is a good way to focus, unless driving. Inhale.... deep breath.....expand chest and lungs... each one taking deeper... Exhale...breathe out audibly... let all the muscles and tension relaxSpeak out, on the inhale and exhale for 3 min :Inhale: Lord, I cast my cares on you Exhale: you will sustain me

Hey Intentional Wellness Warrior!I have a returning guest today and I'm so excited about it! Amber Lia is back with her new devotional and to share real practical tips on how we can be untriggered as a mom. Amber was also on episode 60 and is full of wisdom. For me many times, my work or things unrelated to my kids was and still is sometimes behind my reactions to them- and that does not feel good. As a burnt out nurse and mom I have struggled with mom rage and guilt. Amber, who co-authored a book with Wendy Speak, Triggers, helped me immensely! Hey Intentional Wellness Warrior! I thought about this word and action we do often in nursing…priming. We prime tubing with saline to prepare it for the solution we intend to get to the patient. You are making something ready for use by priming it. Let's relate this to our minds. Yes, we have stressful jobs in healthcare, but are we unintentionally priming your mind for stress and anxiety? Hey Nurse Mom, Caregiver friend, 
You care for everyone so well, but do not have the time, energy or belief left to care for yourself. I believe if we truly found ourselves worthy of the crown, found our worth as a daughter of the King and lived in that truth, we wouldn't find ourselves in Stressedout-ville or Burnout Bay. I think it all comes back to worth. self-worth. Do you know he created YOU as a masterpiece! And he planned all the good, amazing things you would do in this life- abundant life. And do you know he died for YOU? So that He could spend eternity with you in a perfect place with no sin or brokenness. God says you are worthy! Will you believe Him?Let's deep breathe, pray and meditate on the scripture and may it transform our hearts and minds.
The verse for our breath prayer is:
10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Ephesians 2:10 AMP

i didn't know I was in burnout for years!! This means I had many different transitions in and out of my life and still didnt know. I thought this is life, and I am managing it the best I can.  And we hear that advice or encouragement often - “you are doing the best you can.” And not to shame that advice at all, but is that really it?
